About the client

A city discovery app: bars, restaurants, nightlife, museums, coffee and date spots in cities worldwide.

The challenge

Local recommendations only work if they are actually local. One brand account cannot be credible in 18 cities at once.

And generic best-bars content is everywhere; the network had to look native in every city it entered.

How they used doublespeed

The largest network in the set: 114 accounts live, launched Oct 17, 2025 on a 60-account base and scaled from there. Almost entirely TikTok slideshows.

  1. A theme-by-city matrix

Nightlife, bars, food, coffee, dates, culture and work spots, crossed with 18 cities from NYC to Tokyo. Each account owns one theme in one city.

  2. Native in every language

Tokyo posts in Japanese, Madrid in Spanish, Berlin in German, Paris in French. Local credibility is the product.

  3. Built to be saved

Listicle slideshows, average 8 slides, each slide a pinned venue. 2.8M saves against 3.3M likes because every post is a checklist for later.

Two posts per account per day, peak 153 posts in a single day. Views scaled linearly with account count.

What traveled

  1. Hyper-local at scale: a matrix of small, credible accounts beats one big brand voice.

  2. Save-heavy formats turn views into bookmarked intent.

  3. Scaling was linear: 99 to 114 accounts added 19.7M views in 9 weeks (Jun 29 to Aug 31, 2026).
