About the client

An AI platform for K-12 teachers: create, differentiate and manage classroom resources, with autograding and pacing plans. The audience is elementary and middle-school teachers across the US, Canada, the UK and Australia.

The challenge

Teachers are skeptical of edtech and of ads. Teacher TikTok is a real community with its own humor and hashtags.

Content had to read as a colleague sharing a find, not a vendor pitching.

How they used doublespeed

Four 10-account tranches through 2026, 46 accounts live today. The only genuinely cross-platform program: 4,655 TikTok videos and 2,488 Instagram Reels.

  1. Teachers, by grade and subject

Personas are teachers first: high school algebra, 3rd grade, middle school STEM. Bios lean into teacher-life identity, not the product.

  2. The community's own tags

A 30-plus set of community hashtags, from lesson planning to teacher burnout. Distribution happens inside the community, not at it.

  3. Both platforms the community uses

Instagram is a third of the volume but holds 4 of the top 5 posts. Cross-platform is the difference, not a duplicate.

Speak as a teacher, inside teacher spaces, on every platform teachers actually use.

What traveled

  1. Community-native distribution: the voice must belong before the message lands.

  2. The first 10 accounts alone went 57K to 3.5M views in 5 weeks (Feb 16 to Mar 23, 2026).

  3. A smaller platform can carry the biggest posts. Follow the community, not the volume.
