doublespeed Privacy Notice
Last Updated: August 29, 2026
This Privacy Notice explains how Doublespeed, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("doublespeed", "we", "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit doublespeed.ai, use the doublespeed Services, or otherwise interact with us. It applies to visitors to our websites, prospective customers, and the authorized users of our customers' accounts.
If you use the doublespeed Services under an agreement between doublespeed and your organization, that agreement (including our Terms of Service) governs the content and materials your organization submits to the doublespeed Services, and this Privacy Notice governs the account and usage information described below.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, authentication credentials, organization details, and role.
Content and inputs. We receive the content, prompts, media, brand information, product information, and other materials you or your organization submit to the doublespeed Services, along with the content the doublespeed Services generate in response ("Output"). We also store content published to connected social media accounts at your direction and related performance data.
Connected account information. When you connect a social media account or another third-party service, we receive information from that service as authorized by you, such as account identifiers, tokens, profile information, content, and engagement metrics.
Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe). We receive limited billing information, such as your name, billing address, plan, and transaction history, but we do not store full payment card numbers.
Usage and device information. We automatically collect information about how you use the doublespeed Services, including log data, IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, features used, and interactions with the product. We collect some of this through cookies and similar technologies, including analytics tools such as PostHog.
Communications. If you contact us, we collect the contents of your communications and any information you choose to provide, including support requests and feedback.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and secure the doublespeed Services;
- create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and provide customer support;
- generate content and take actions you direct, including publishing to connected social media accounts;
- process payments and manage subscriptions and credits;
- analyze usage to improve the doublespeed Services, develop new features, and fix problems;
- send administrative communications, such as service announcements, security notices, and billing messages;
- send marketing communications where permitted by law (you can opt out at any time);
- enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements, and comply with applicable law.
3. AI Features and Model Training
The doublespeed Services use machine learning models, including models operated by third-party providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and fal.ai), to generate content and power automated features. Content you submit to AI features is sent to these providers to generate results.
We do not use customer content to train generally available third-party foundation models, and where a model provider offers a control over training on submitted data, we configure that control to prevent such training. We may use content in deidentified form to improve the doublespeed Services as described in our Terms of Service, and customers may opt out of that use by contacting legal@doublespeed.ai.
If you access the doublespeed Services through a third-party AI assistant or client (such as ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude), the data you route through that client is also governed by that provider's own terms and privacy practices.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share personal information only:
- With service providers and subprocessors that help us operate the doublespeed Services, such as cloud hosting and infrastructure (e.g., Vercel, Supabase, Microsoft Azure), AI model providers, payment processors (e.g., Stripe), analytics (e.g., PostHog), logging and monitoring, and email delivery providers (e.g., Resend). More detail is available on request at legal@doublespeed.ai.
- With social media platforms and other third-party services you connect or direct us to publish to, under that platform's own terms.
- Within your organization, such as with account administrators and other authorized users on your team.
- In connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality protections.
- For legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of doublespeed, our customers, or others.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the doublespeed Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality. We currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the doublespeed Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Following termination of a customer account, customer content is available for export for thirty (30) days, after which we may delete it subject to backup retention cycles and legal retention obligations.
7. Security
We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and access logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@doublespeed.ai. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and, where applicable, the GDPR and UK GDPR. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are an authorized user of one of our customers, we may direct your request to that customer, since they control the account and its content.
9. International Transfers
doublespeed is based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Children
The doublespeed Services are for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent). If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice by email or through the doublespeed Services.
